Glass Blowing Classes: Paperweight Class
Jan. 19th, Feb. 16th, March 15th & April 19th from Noon to 5 p.m.
Bllow your own glass paperweight. Students are introduced to the glass making process by shaping and forming their own paperweight.
Cost per session is $65.00.

Glass Blowing Workshop: Vessel Workshop

In KC Glass Studio's Blown Glass WorkShop, you'll learn about safety in the studio and watch an instructor's demonstration. Then you'll use a variety of specialized glass-working tools to gather molten glass from the furnace, shape the glass in a mold, blow air into it, and create your own hollow vessel, with the detailed guidance of an instructor. And you'll get to take home the blown glass vessel you've created! Glass blowing workshop enrollment is strictly limited (four students per class).
$125 for a four-hour glass blowing workshop.
GlassBlowing Class: Level I
Sunday 10:00 am - 1:30 p.m.

During this class, students will learn more about the glass blowing process, while working closely with their instructor, including: safety in the studio; proper use of glassworking tools; how to gather molten glass from the furnace; and the basic techniques necessary to create simple blown glass forms. No experience required although a paper weight class is recommended.
Cost of glassblowing class is $550.00.
Glass Blowing Class: Level II
Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

During this class, students will learn more about the glass blowing process, while working closely with their instructor. The Level 2 Glass Blowing Class develops fundamental glass blowing skills, including the application of color, the use of tools, working with a partner, and understanding the operation of specialized equipment. Glass Blowing Class Level I, or equivalent experience, required, at the discretion of the Studio Director.
$435 for 18 hours of glass blowing lessons.

Are you a glass blowing artist? Rent time at the KC Glass Studio for studio $45 per hour, or $55 per with a tutor. Assistants available for $10 - $15 per hour.
